Our vision for the criminal justice system is one that seeks to restore victims and offenders to their rightful ("justice") place in society. We form a network of volunteers, community stake-holders, and service providers that restore lives impacted by the culture of crime by promoting and facilitating action, repentance, forgiveness, programs and legislation.
We seek to bring society closer to its full and healthiest self by challenging and engaging the culture to practice restorative justice. By modeling, facilitating, and leading this change we are committed to seeing victims, offenders, society at large, policy and the Legislature and the Justice System pursue and embrace the restorative philosophy.
Over the years, collectively, we have represented redeemed and promising offenders, counseled and journeyed with victims of crime, invested and impacted the lives of the at-risk children of the incarcerated, lobbied for legislative change, spearheaded reentry and aftercare programs that have transitioned countless men and women from prison to society, and implemented dozens of programs inside and outside the correctional fences.
